ANTI-SCRATCH TWEEZERS

Anti scratch - Anti statistics - Ecological - Natural

ANTI-SCRATCH TWEEZERS ARE USEFUL FOR HANDLING FRAGILE COMPONENTS WITHOUT scratching THEM.

The technical specifications of the polymer used to make its interchangeable tweezer tips were designed exclusively for the watchmaking and jewellery fields. We work with this natural material that has existed for centuries and whose use in watchmaking is still very new. It is thanks to the thermosetting polymer tips made from casein, a milk protein, that we have changed and improved the way you handle your components.

Thanks to its properties, this material does not scratch precious materials. It also has a hard surface, to prevent excessive wear and from becoming contaminated with particules. It's also anti-static.

Our tips also reduce our ecological footprint because they are biodegradable.

With these 3 shapes (normal, thin and flat), the anti-scratch tweezers can be used on all components in your sector of activity.

In case of wear or breakage, its tips can be replaced easily using a screwdriver.

We can also design custom shapes.

REcommendations:

These high-end tweezers must be used with care. The synthetic tips remain fragile, and can break if dropped for example.

The alignment of the two points can be corrected at any time since the tips have an angular play. You need only unscrew the four slotted screws slightly, make the adjustment, and retighten the screws. Make sure not to apply an excessive torque.

The tips can be cleaned by quickly wiping them with an alcohol-soaked cloth.

Never immerse the tips in a liquid.

Choose from our three tip geometries according to your application.

The thin and flat geometries are more fragile, due to their thinness.

Replacing the TIPS

Use a watchmaker's screwdriver for the slotted screws, and a mechanic's screwdriver (type PB 5180/1-80 - Screwdriver Pozidriv PZ1/SL 80 mm) for the central Phillips head screw.

When refitting, start by screwing in the slotted screws, without over-tightening.

Then proceed to the self-tapping central screw, which requires a higher torque and axial pressure during screwing.

Orient the points so that they are correctly aligned, and tighten the slotted screws a little further.
